Guide the design, management, and maintenance of Azure Security services (Defender for Cloud, Workload Protection, Application protection, Advanced threat protection etc.).Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of scalable security and governance solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• Guide the design, management, and maintenance of Azure IAM, PIM, Security services (Defender for Cloud, Workload Protection, Application protection, Advanced threat protection etc)
• Automate incident response and remediation using Azure native tools, scripting.
• Perform threat modelling, risk assessment and data security validation.
• Provide second and third-level support and analysis during and after a security incident.
• Maintain current knowledge of security trends, technologies, and best practices around Microsoft solutions.
• Mentor/train other team members.The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoQualifications Expected for Position
  • An experienced Azure Engineer with knowledge of Azure security, automation, and data governance solutions.
  • Strong automation experience using Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM (Azure Resource Manager), Azure LogicApps and Azure Functions.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience in the technical deployment, configuration, integration, support, and administration of Azure IAM, RBAC, PIM, Defender for Cloud, CSPM, CWPP and Azure purview.
  • Experience developing solutions across the security assurance lifecycle (including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls).
  • Deep knowledge of security architecture for Azure workloads and resources.
  • Well versed with agile and DevSecOps principles, embedding security throughout CI/CD process.
  • Microsoft AZ-500 (Azure Security) and AZ-305 certification (Azure Architect).
