Role DescriptionAs a Technology/Engineering Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to students in technology and engineering subjects during after-school programs & holiday camps. You will develop lesson plans, facilitate hands-on activities, and assess student progress to ensure a positive learning experience.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience teaching or working with students in a classroom or after-school setting
• Strong knowledge and expertise in technology and engineering concepts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children
• Experience with project-based learning and hands-on activities
• Proficient in class room management
  Skills:
  
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Micro:bits, Arduinio, Piper kits, electronic circuits like -littleBits, SnapCircuits etc
  • Knowledge of robotics platforms like WeDo2.0, SpikePrime, Vex Robots, Dash/Dot/Cue, Ev3, and more
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and different coding platforms e.g. code.org
  • Highly organized and dedicated
  • Fun, creative, and energetic approach to teaching
  • Uphold strong moral values and discipline
  • Flexible to learn new tools, techniques, and teaching methods (S2STEM offers guidance and training for the first 3 months)
